Where should I put my kitten at night?

If you have a new kitten, you probably don’t need to be told that cats are nocturnal animals. The nighttime antics of young kittens may leave their owners feeling sleep-deprived.
So in the interest of your sanity as well as your kitten’s health and safety, lay some ground rules early. Although it may be nice to have a cuddle with your kitty, be aware that by allowing him to sleep in your bed overnight, you’re setting a precedent that you may later regret. So consider making him his own bed instead – and place it somewhere quiet, warm and cozy. If your kitty continues to climb out of his bed and into yours, you may need to keep him in a separate room at night.
