Getting ready for a new puppy means stocking up on essential supplies. For starters, that means a bag of high-quality puppy food, unbreakable food and water bowls, a soft cloth collar and short leash, an ID tag, some comfy bedding, and a place for the puppy to sleep, such as a crate or a roomy box with high sides.
Stock up on puppy pads, too, if you plan to use them for potty training. And because puppy is bound to have an “accident” from time to time, it’s also a good idea to buy a product that removes stains and odors in a jiffy.
Playing with a new puppy is great fun, so be ready with a few chew and squeaky toys. Buy puppy a brush, some treats, and you’re set to welcome him home!
