Podcasts are audio or video programs that you can download and play on your computer or portable media player. Petcasts are usually distributed using Really Simple Syndication (RSS) technology.
-
To see and hear podcasts, you need a computer with a sound card. If you want to take your podcasts on the go, you'll need to transfer them from your computer to a portable media device.
-
To receive podcasts automatically, you need podcast subscription software such as Apple's iTunes (which has the software built in), or services such as Odeo.
-
Purina video podcasts are in .mp4 format, which you can view using the QuickTime player, RealPlayer or iTunes - all of which are available at no charge. Windows Media Player does not recognize .mp4 video files. If you have trouble viewing Purina video podcasts, download one of these players and try again.
-
The easiest way to subscribe to Purina podcasts is via our Petcasting homepage on iTunes, where you may subscribe to shows at the click of a button. Alternatively, all of our podcast pages include an XML link that you may copy and paste into your podcast software of choice.
